Why support “Roses & Races”?
Approximately 13% of the adult population in Bexar Country is living with a disability.
All funds raised go directly to supporting services and programs benefiting more than 2,000 children and adults with disabilities, and their families.
“Roses & Races” is a great way for your business/company to gain exposure as it will be attended by over 350 guests, including some of San Antonio’s most influential community and corporate leaders.
This year, the Hartman Humanitarian Award will be presented to Barbara B. Gentry for her amazing support of The Arc, our friends with special needs, and the San Antonio community at large.
On behalf of over 2,000 individuals with special needs and their families served by The Arc of San Antonio each year, we invite you to sponsor the 2019 Roses & Races: Derby Night Gala on Saturday, May 4th at the La Cantera Resort & Spa. This fun, unique event provides support for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. View sponsorship opportunities here.

The annual gala is vital in helping us continue our mission of enhancing the quality of life for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This single event is the largest fundraiser for The Arc of San Antonio. Last year, with the donations and support of numerous businesses, we raised over $220,000 which funded programs and services benefiting more than 2,000 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and their families.
