Pam Stephens Center Opens!

The Arc of San Antonio has completed construction for the first half of the Growing to Serve Capital campaign.  The new Pam Stephens Center opened for summer childcare on August 1st and began the school year with an enrollment of 31 children.  The adult Life Enrichment programs opened on September 2nd with 28 participants.  If you would like an application or more information on these programs, please contact Jennifer Smith at (210) 682-4200 ext. 201 or jsmith@arc-sa.org.

To date, The Arc of San Antonio has raised over $1.6 million toward the purchase and building construction at the Pam Stephens Center. While we have completed renovations to the new facility, we continue to accept donations for expenses such as signage, landscaping and other items that are not yet in place for this facility.  Our next goal for the capital campaign is to raise $280,000 to convert the former YMCA swimming pool into an accessible aquatic center for children and adults with disabilities.
