Birdies for Charity

Would you like to help people with developmental disabilities and get exposure for your business at a major PGA tournament?  Birdies for Charity is an annual fundraiser that allows nonprofits to raise money and awareness for programs that benefit families in our community.  Last year The Arc of San Antonio raised over $16,000 through the Birdies program.  Our 2008 goal is to raise $20,000 and we need your help!

Valero Texas Open and Golf San Antonio pay all the expenses for Birdies for Charity.  This means that 100% of every dollar donated to The Arc of San Antonio through Birdies is used to enhance the quality of life for children and adults with developmental disabilities. Your donation will also make us eligible for grants from Valero and Golf San Antonio – up to $100,000!

                                    Birdies Club Membership Packages

Become a Birdies Club Member by making a donation of $1,000 or more to Birdies for Charity.  100% of your donation benefits The Arc of San Antonio and makes us eligible for additional funding from Valero and Golf San Antonio.

Birdies Club Membership Benefits include:
• Company name on signage at the Valero Texas Open held October 6-12 at the La Cantera Golf Resort.  Signage will have high visibility with golfers and approx. 50,000 spectators.
• 4 tickets and a parking pass to the golf tournament ($110 retail value).
• Chance to win a new Buick Enclave through the “Guess the Birdies” contest.
• Spotlight recognition as a 2008 Birdies Club donor on The Arc of San Antonio’s website and in the Winter 2008 edition of “Milestones” (printed and electronic versions).

$1,000 Birdies Club Members receive:
• 2 tickets to The Arc’s 21st Annual Gala on March 28, 2009 at the Westin Riverwalk Hotel ($300 value).  Make a two-year Birdies Club pledge of $1,000 per year and receive 4 tickets to the 2009 gala.

$2,500 Birdies Club Members receive:
• Patron Sponsorship at the Arc’s 21st Annual Gala on March 28, 2009 at the Westin Riverwalk Hotel ($2,500 value).  Includes table for 10 with program, signage and website recognition for event with 350+ guests.  Make a two-year Birdies Club pledge of $2,500 per year and receive recognition as a $5,000 Bronze sponsor at the 2009 gala.

To become a 2008 Birdies Club Member, complete and return the enclosed Birdies for Charity donation form with your payment or pledge for the selected sponsorship package.
